Statement of Faith

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and believing on him, I have eternal life. [John 3:16-17, Acts 16:31]

I believe that if I confess with my mouth, the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in my heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved. [Romans 10:8-9]

I believe that I am not saved because of the works that I do, but I am saved by grace. [Ephesians 2:8-9]

I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is true and infallible. [Psalms 19:7, 2 Timothy 3:16-17]

I believe that God cannot lie, hath He not spoken and shall He not bring it to pass? [Numbers 23;19, Titus 1:2]

I believe that divine healing is for today as well as yesterday and if I have faith in God, I will be healed of all sickness and diseases. [Jeremiah 30:17, Matthew 9:35]

I believe Jesus Christ was both human and divine. [John 1:14, Galatians 4:4]

I believe that the Bible speaks to us today and that it is not just for the apostles of yesterday. [Psalms 40:8, 1 Peter 1:25]

I believe in salvation, sanctification and being filled with the Holy Ghost. [Romans 5:1-8, Romans 10:13, Acts 1:5-8, 2 Timothy 2:21]

I believe in speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God give utterance. [Acts 2:4]

I believe in the assembly of ourselves, as written in the Holy Bible, therefore, I will make my presence known at the House of God. [Deuteronomy 12:5, Hebrews 10:25]

I believe in giving tithe and offerings; therefore, I will pay that which God has commanded in Malachi 3rd chapter, and in so doing, God will bless me beyond measure. [Malachi 3:8-12]

I believe that my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in me, therefore, I must keep the temple clean by obeying the Word of God. [1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20]

I believe in self-examination, before taking Holy Communion, so that I will not eat or drink unworthily and be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. [1 Corinthians 11:24-30, Psalms 11:3]

I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, arose from the dead on the third day, ascended back to heaven, is now seated on the right hand of the Father, and that He is coming back again for a church without a spot or a wrinkle. [Luke 23:33, Acts 1:11, Matthew 28:5-7, Mark 16:19]
